THE ESTATE
An indoor-outdoor organism tying its inhabitants to the jungle landscape and to one another.
1 / 4
“The house is centered on a pool and communal dining area. Connective tissues in the form of bridges, trellises, and breezeways weave the structure into a single indoor-outdoor organism... tying its inhabitants simultaneously to the jungle landscape and to one another. The decor is calculated for supreme comfort and ease, with elements that nod to the many countries where Diplo has traveled and the things he loves.”

Overview of the House.
Gather with friends in our sun-drenched courtyard, cooled by jungle mists and Caribbean winds. We designed Pompey to nurture social connection and deepen introspection for those looking to hide out for a while. It’s a place where comfort meets the wild, and nature teems just beyond your window.
5 rooms, 6 beds, 4 baths, with an additional bed and bath in our studio building. Common spaces include multiple lounge areas, a large outdoor table, a living room with a piano and TV, a library, a bar, a chess table, a vinyl collection with a record player, a family kitchen, a large pool with chairs and an outdoor sectional, Bluetooth speakers throughout, and a BBQ and grill.
Entertainment & Amenities
To compensate for this ruggedness, Pompey was crafted with creature comforts in mind: multiple indoor/outdoor lounge areas, a large outdoor table for entertaining guests, in-house chefs, a heated infinity pool, horseback riding, a communal living room with a grand piano and TV, a library, a bar with a bartender upon request (psilocybin and marijuana also available upon request), a chess table, Diplo’s vinyl collection, a family-style kitchen, BBQ and grill, an on-site organic farm and orchard, private gardens and terraces, a helicopter pad, and Bluetooth speakers throughout.
Wellness
Wellness is important to us here, so we equipped Pompey with a range of fitness and recovery options for people who operate like us.
And for the wellness-minded: a yoga pavilion that overlooks a pond, a climbing wall, e-bikes and ATVs with trails throughout the property, hiking trails, a cold plunge and sauna, a private gym with stationary bikes, a Pilates reformer, a treadmill, water rower, weights, boxing and speed bags, and a hyperbaric chamber.
Art
“His [Diplo’s] whole life is collaborating and fostering artists,”
-Lauren Crahan, FREECELL Architects
Adding to Pompey’s allure is its art collection. The space itself already resembles a museum, with bold vaulted volumes of concrete and floor-to-ceiling windows. Naturally, it’s no surprise that Diplo has used this place as a “blank canvas” for his eclectic curatorial sensibility. Yet another layer that makes this place so unique.
Pompey’s collection showcases works by artists such as Pedro Reyes, Sofia Londono, Veronica Ryan, Lucas Muñoz Muñoz, Garnett Puett, and Vince Skelly.
